School Dinner Menu
‘Healthy Schools' dinners are cooked in our on-site kitchen and we are very proud of the quality and variety of the food we serve to our children. Millennium Primary School is part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and you may remember that this is where the Jamie Oliver school dinner revolution began!
All of our meals are healthy and nutritionally balanced, and a choice is available for the children each day. Vegetarian options, pasta and jacket potatoes are always on the menu in addition as part of our daily offer. Salad is available as an accompaniment to the main course every day and fruit is always an option for dessert. Water is always available to drink.
All children in Reception and years 1 and 2 are entitled to a Free School Dinner. Please ask at the office if you have not yet filled out a form.
If you are in receipt of certain benefit payments or meet other criteria, you may be eligible for Free School Meals. Please click the link to complete the short form https://www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/link2ict
As a Healthy Eating School we ask that if children are having a packed lunch that it should be a properly balanced meal, eg. sandwiches, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and water.
We do not allow sweets, chocolate bars, crisps and fizzy drinks. We also ask that you do not include nuts due to some children’s severe allergies.
